USA imports of Textiles are Shrinking - Recent data on Imports of Apparels & Terxtiles in USA , published by OTEXA for the Year-to-Date November (YTD) 2009 have shown reduction of (-) 13.9 % in value term (US $ Millions) and of (-)8.9 % in volume term (Square Metre Equivalent)  over same period of 2008.

Indian Textiles imports in USA see degrowth in Volume with low price realization :  USA imports of Total Textiles and Apparel from India down by 5% , notably  2.4% of positive growth for Apparel and while 8.4% negative growth  for non-apparel category,  in volume terms for YTD  November 2009 over same period of  2008. This fall  pronounce more , of around 10.7 % for overall textiles and apparel imports in value terms due to low price realization for YTD November 2009 over same period of 2008.
